Christopher John Francis Boone knows all the countries of the world and their capitals and every prime number up to 7,057. He relates well to animals but has no understanding of human emotions. He cannot stand to be touched. And he detests the color yellow. The story begins with Christopher discovering the murdered dog of his neighbor. Against the advice of his father, Christopher embarks on an investigation to solve the mystery. As he navigates the challenges of his own condition, the play unfolds into a compelling exploration of family dynamics and the resilience of the human spirit.
